Additional optical benefits include anti-reflective XR coatings that coat all lens elements to increase light transmission. The phase of the BaK4 prism has been improved, giving us a sharp and contrasty image across the entire field of view.Dielectric multi-layer reflective coatings have been used on the roof prisms instead of the aluminium coatings used in cheaper binoculars. The dielectric coating increases the reflectivity, resulting in a sharper, more natural image.The Razor HD 1250 has a magnesium housing, which is used to reduce weight without losing strength. The binoculars are filled with argon, which prevents the lenses from fogging up in high humidity environments or sudden temperature changes.
