Description

DLC is a PVD, Physical Vapour Deposition, coating treatment in which the blade is electrically charged with different gases to change the chemical composition of the surface, allowing for a 20 percent increase in surface strength compared to its predecessor. The hardened steel surface is less susceptible to build-up in the crotch, allowing the blade to hold a longer cutting edge without adding weight. Our DLC process results in a black, sleek finish and is standard on all custom skates.
